Aviation minister for commercial air service between Nepal and Australia

KATHMANDU, July 6: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai has requested the Australian ambassador to Nepal, Peter Budd, to start commercial air service between the two countries.

KATHMANDU, July 6: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai has requested the Australian ambassador to Nepal, Peter Budd, to start commercial air service between the two countries. 


In a meeting with Ambassador Budd, Bhattarai proposed starting a commercial aviation relationship between the two countries. They shared the situation and impact due to COVID-19. Both of them thanked each other for their assistance to repatriate nationals stranded in Nepal and Australia.

Budd expressed commitment to put forward the proposal of connecting the two countries directly via air to the Australian government.
