In his upcoming film Bala, Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen teaming up with Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar. The actor has worked with both the actresses before. Interestingly, Ayushmann and Yami made their Bollywood debut with Vicky Donor in 2012, Bhumi too made her Bollywood debut with Ayushmann starrer Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015). The actor says that though it looks easy teaming up with ex-co-stars for new movies, in real it is actually challenging.

He elaborates, “The toughest part in situations like these is to get the fresh chemistry onscreen. It is important that the chemistry doesn’t remind audience of the previous collaborations. Instead it should look fresh as per the new characters and the story of the new film. For the unawares, Ayushmann knows Yami even before they teamed up for Vicky Donor. He says, “I have known Yami since a long time. I did my first internship with her father. I acted in a documentary, which was directed by her father. He heads a Punjabi channel in Chandigarh. Since then we have been family friends.”
