Devotees coming from various places of the country throng the Pashupati area; lit the Mahadeep (lights) in the name of their deceased ancestors around and stay awake whole the night on Mangsir Krishna Trayodashi, chanting hymns. They sow the Satbeej early morning on Chaturdashi after taking a sacred bath, Prof Gautam said.
