KATHMANDU, June 22: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Tuesday condemned the bombing at Afghanistan’s capital on June 20 that killed 14 Nepali security guards en route to the Canadian Embassy where they had been working.
In a press statement issued by his spokesperson, Ban has also extended his condolences to the families of the victims and to the Governments of Afghanistan and Nepal.

In the statement, Ban has also called for those responsible for attacks to be brought to justice.
On June 20, a suicide bomber targeted a minibus which was carrying employees working for a foreign company in Banae area at 05:40 am (Afghanistan time).
The deceased were deployed there by Sabre Security, an Afghan company providing security for the Canadian embassy in Kabul, according to reports by news agencies.
