KATHMANDU, July 22: A banking offense case has been filed against Love KC, owner of Chisapani Hills View Resort in Nuwakot. The District Government Attorney's Office, Kathmandu, initiated the case on Sunday due to banking offenses.
The case follows an incident where a Rs 900,000 check issued by KC bounced due to insufficient funds in his account. The complaint was lodged by Bhimsen Lama Tamang, who reported the issue to the police. KC, who was arrested on July 3 and subsequently released on bail, is under continued investigation.

Banking offenses, including check bounce cases, have been on the rise in Nepal. In the fiscal year 2080/81 BS, there were 13,262 banking offense cases filed nationwide, with 7,662 of these occurring within the Kathmandu Valley.
