B’desh-Nepal Youth Convention 2017 concludes

KATHMANDU: Bangladesh-Nepal Youth Convention 2017 (BNYC2017) was held from July 7-10 at BRAC learning center, in Chittagong, Bangladesh. It was organized by Youth Alliance International (YAI) with the support of Well Group and Bangladesh Embassy in Kathmandu. As many as 15 delegates from Nepal and Bangladesh made their participation in the event.

KATHMANDU: Bangladesh-Nepal Youth Convention 2017 (BNYC2017) was held from July 7-10 at BRAC learning center, in Chittagong, Bangladesh.  It was organized by Youth Alliance International (YAI) with the support of Well Group and Bangladesh Embassy in Kathmandu. As many as 15 delegates from Nepal and Bangladesh made their participation in the event.


As per a press statement released by YAI, the Nepali delegation was jointly led by BNYC 2017 National Coordinators Suraj Raj Pandey and Priya Sigdel, while the Bangladeshi delegation was led and coordinated by YAI co-founder Imtiaz Hussain. With the theme of ‘Socio-cultural Business Idea Competition’, the four-day residential program also saw the participation of prestigious business personalities of Chittagong.

The program offered knowledge on ways to turn abstract ideas into executable plans directly from senior professionals in the sector, and thorough understanding of why cultural change precedes social change and how this pertains to creative projects, and business models in any sector or industry.


The event was organized with an aim to explore, evaluate and develop business ideas by applying the principles of Cultural Entrepreneurship in a thorough, critical and confidential way, read the statement.
