She recalled how the first few years at Rupy’s were a different experience. “When I came here, it was all about playing. You know, people found it strange to see kids in an environment where they learned by playing. That was the Rupy’s concept back then! In those times, none of the other schools provided something like that – I’m talking about 25 years ago,” she shared.
Gyawali joined Rupy’s before she turned three years old. Later, she joined Mussoorie International School in India and finished high school from Pathways World School, Aravali, India.
Binod Gyawali, managing director of Nepal Republic Media Pvt Ltd, also attended the event.
Rupy’s International School was founded in 1982 by Rupy Singh with the vision to have an institution which is focused not just toward academics, but toward building good human beings.
Having advanced from pre-school to primary and secondary, the school introduced A-level program since 2008-09.
