BHAKTAPUR, Jan 20: The District Administration Office, Bhaktapur has stopped non-essential services from today.

Apart from the services related to its day to day functions such as maintaining peace and security in the district, all other services have been suspended until further notice, said Chief District Officer Rudradevi Sharma. The DAO has taken this decision as a number of employees at the office tested positive for COVID-19. The service seekers who want to avail the essential services are requested to bring the vaccine card or the photo of the card in the mobile. They have been advised to wear masks and fully comply with the health standards.

"We have suspended regular and direct contact between the staff and the service seekers until further notice," she said.

Sharma also appealed to all to adhere to health standards, avoid going out unnecessarily and joining crowds and compulsorily wear masks.
