Foreign migration is popular among the youths of Nepal. However, there are some who are still adamant about creating a career back home. Arjun Bhandari is among such youths who found a successful career in Nepal.
With an investment of Rs 90 million, he registered Seven Wonders Water Park and Resort Pvt Ltd on January 1, 2016. The resort is situated at Lekhnath Chowk, Pokhara. Speaking about his inspiration, Bhandari said, “Though I am a science student, I was interested in the hospitality field since my childhood. So, I chose to turn my dream into reality by opening this resort.”
Further elaborating his motive, Bhandari stated, “I had always noticed the lack of adventure swimming pools in Pokhara. So, I decided to provide a proper swimming facility to the visitors.”
Currently, there are three types of swimming pools catering to different age groups and swimmer’s proficiency. The biggest attraction of his resort is the 60ft long pool where one can slide down from a height of 20ft.

He said that the customers will be able to directly book the services after the launch of the website. He is also looking forward to expanding the business and develops it into a luxury resort.
Suggesting other youths who tend to move abroad in search of better opportunity, Bhandari said, “If you have dedication, passion, and skills, you can easily overcome challenges. Instead of moving abroad you can implement your ideas in your own native land. Most business sectors in Nepal are yet to be explored.”
