KC in his lawsuit claimed that Samragyee made defamatory statements accusing him of sexually harassing her in various news channels as well as social media which undermined his “honour and reputation”. According to Karki, the case was already registered and the proceedings had already begun.

The actress accused KC of being involved in sexual harassment activities during the shooting of a film named Dreams and accused that the veteran actor also committed similar activities in Japan when they had been there in World Function. Actress Shah made public videos in this regard on social media.

Earlier, KC had filed a complaint at the Film Actors Association demanding fact finding in her allegation.
