Bhuwan maintains lead after third day

KATHMANDU, Nov 30: Bhuwan Nagarkoti maintained lead after the fourth round of the Surya Nepal Challenge, the third event under the Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2017-18, at the par-68 Royal Nepal Golf Club on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, Nov 30: Bhuwan Nagarkoti maintained lead after the fourth round of the Surya Nepal Challenge, the third event under the Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2017-18, at the par-68 Royal Nepal Golf Club on Wednesday.


Bhuwan carded one-under 67 today for the 54-hole total score of 10-under 194. He is nine strokes ahead of Dhana Bahadu Thapa, who scrored four-under 64 for the total score of one-under 203.

Rabi Khadka and Deepak Magar share the third position at even-par 204. Rabi carded even-par 68 and Deepak shot three-over 71 today.

Surya Prasad Sharma (70) and Ramesh Nagarkoti (67) share the fifth position at one-over 205, while Bhuwan Kumar Rokka (69) is seventh at 206.  Rame Magar and Yelamber Singh Adhikari share the eighth position at four-over 208, while Jayaram Shrestha is 10th at 211. Nepal No 1 pro Shiva Ram Shrestha is 11that 213 after he played two-over 70.


In amateur section, Tanka Bahadur Karki is at the top of the leaderboard with the total score of nine-over 213. The national team member Tanka carded six-over 74 and is four strokes ahead of Subash Ghising, who shot a 72 for the total score of 217.
