Bidding Farewell to Miss Nisha Pathak for Miss Intercontinental 2021, Egypt
Rajesh Rauniar, National Director of the Miss Intercontinental Nepal Organization, on Saturday announced final farewell and wishes to Nisha Pathak Miss Intercontinental Nepal. According to a press statement, she will be representing Nepal at Miss Intercontinental happening on October 29 in the Sunrise Diamond Beach Resort Hotel, Sharm-el-sheikh, Egypt.

According to a press statement, she will be representing Nepal at Miss Intercontinental happening on October 29 in the Sunrise Diamond Beach Resort Hotel, Sharm-el-sheikh, Egypt.
The press statement quoted Rauniar as saying, “We are happy to wish Nisha to the Miss Intercontinental stage where she is sure to turn up the heat in Sharm el Sheik. This year marks the 49th Anniversary of the Miss Intercontinental Pageant and what better place to showcase talent of women from around the world than in Egypt, and Sharm el Sheik, also called "City of Peace".
In the event, the organizers showcased national costume, finale gown and Nepal’s introduction video which is inspired by the Tharu community’s costume that is modified without losing the cultural essence for the international stage.
It added that the blouse has mirror work and the coins which are inspired from Rana Tharu culture are used. While the white base is inspired from the Tharu culture in the East starting from Chitwan. The prints on the skirts are mostly worn by the Tharu's in the West, Midwest and Far West. And the diamond patterns are mostly used by Tharu in Kailali. In this national costume, designers have tried to bring together the tharu culture from East to far west. And use of color in the shawl has inspired Nepal's National Flag.
