SARLAHI, Aug 8: A person died another sustained injuries after the motorbike they were riding met with an accident on Thursday afternoon in Sarlahi.
The deceased has been identified as Bikram Das Kathbaniya, 19, of Barhathawa municipality-4, according to police.
The incident occurred when a truck (Na 5 Kha 6014) hit the motorbike at Hariwan municipality along the east-west highway, according to District Police Office, Nawalpur.

Kathbaniya breathed his last while undergoing treatment at local Namuna Hospital, informed Traffic Police.
Injured pillion rider Manoj Kumar Das, 29, is receiving treatment at District Hospital, Malangwa. Das has been referred to Bharatpur for further treatment.
The body has been taken to the District Hospital for postmortem while the truck driver is absconding, Area Police Office informed.
