India's "Biking Queens" on a ride across 25 countries

KATHMANDU, June 7: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri flagged off three women bikers of the group named “Biking Queens” on Friday in Kathmandu. 


Conveying a message of “Women’s Pride”, the group is on a bike ride to 25 countries across the 3 continents.

On June 5, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath flagged off the trios on the occasion of World Environment Day in Varanasi. They will complete a ride of 25,000 kilometers spanning 90 days before concluding their journey in London on August 26.


The expedition team will visit Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia,  Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Poland, Germany, Austria, France, and Morocco.
