Biratnagar Titans lose three games in a row

POKHARA,Oct 29: Kathmandu Royals registered their consecutive second win after defeating Biratnagar Titans by 5 wickets with 4 balls to spare in the ongoing Pokhara Premier League (PPL-2018) at Pokhara Rangshaala, Pokhara on Monday.

POKHARA,Oct 29: Kathmandu Royals registered their consecutive second win after defeating Biratnagar Titans by 5 wickets with 4 balls to spare in the ongoing Pokhara Premier League (PPL-2018) at Pokhara Rangshaala, Pokhara on Monday.


Biratnagar Titans on the otherhand has lost three games in a row. Biratnagar Titans had scored 150 runs on the board for Kathmandu Royals to chase.

GY Tomar, Amit Shrestha and Gyanendra Malla scored 66, 35 and 17 runs respectively in today’s match to secure the victory for Kathmandu Royals.


Shahab Alam took 2 wickets whereas Kishore Mahato, Sunil Dhamala and Sandeep Lamichhane took 1 wicket each for the Biratnagar Titans.


Earlier, Biratnagar Titans elected to bat first after winning the toss and collected 149 runs losing seven wickets in allotted overs.


Muhammad Zaid Alam smashed 67 runs from 47 deleveries. Likewise,S Dhamal and RP Magar scored 30 runs each for Biratnagar Titans. Whereas rest of the Titans batsmen could not make a double digits score in the first innings.


Susan Bhari, Basanta Regmi and GY Tomar took two wickets each for Kathmandu Royals in the game.
