KATHMANDU, Dec 25: Amid a flurry of activities of pro-monarchy (rajabadis) protests across the country and the dramatic political developments following the dissolution of the parliament, Shiva Sena, Nepal has said that the involvement of 'foreign country' and its Hindu wings like Shiva Sena, India and the ruling BJP in Nepal's internal affairs is not necessary.
Indian forces should lobby to make India a Hindu nation, before lobbying to make Nepal a Hindu kingdom, Shiva Sena, Nepal, said.
Among other developments, rajabadis formed a 101-member work committee in Indo-Nepal border of Jogbani, Biratnagar last week. It aims to sensitize people about the cause in the eastern part of the country. Individuals and priests of different shrines, including Ananda Ji Maharaj, stated that the country is in crisis and that it is crucial to work on reinstating the monarchy.

When Yogi Adityanath, a Hindu monk, became chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, he did not hesitate to state that Nepal should declare itself a Hindu nation and be the holy place for 100-million Hindus across the world. He had written to the then PM of Nepal Sushil Koirala to ban cow slaughter and religious conversion.
There was a sense within Nepal that the BJP will do everything it takes to reinstate monarchy in Nepal.
"We are for Hindu nation and monarch, but it should be the choice of the Nepalis. Seen, unseen roles of foreign forces are not acceptable. Neither can they help in the long run," said the spokesperson of Shiva Sena, Nepal, Bashanta Bikram Pandey. "Let me tell you, former king Gyanendra will never support a forceful change of this system."
Shiva Sena, Nepal has been closely working with 'Bir Gorkhali' campaign in organizing rallies and other events across the country. Bir Gorkhali is a loose group of young people, mostly former cadres of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, and Shiva Sena, Nepal stemmed from Shiv Sena, India. However, Shiva Sena, Nepal says they won’t accept India’s involvement in the movement.
"We have been uniting Nepali youths by disseminating the message that it is time to save our country from external and domestic enemies, and for that we have to go back to our roots-- a Hindu kingdom. Only if Nepali youth internalize the issue, we will be on the right track," said Pandey, adding that BJP or any other's pressure cannot help. 'Even if the king is reinstated due to the roles played by BJP or any other external force, that will not bring a stable change.'
Political analyst Arjun Prasain, who 'remained a communist for lifetime' but is now 'okay with monarchy if it does good for the country', stated that monarchy cannot be restored unless India wants it.
"All our big political changes have been hatched by India. The Maoists were groomed, and nurtured by them. This federalism and secularism is here, just because the European Union and all other sorts of forces prevailed. It's not the changes we wanted," he said. "If India really wants it, nobody can stop it. That's where we are as a nation," he added.
