KALIKOT, August 7: The Jumla road section is now open. The road section, which was closed since yesterday morning after the axle of a vehicle broke at Sunar river in Kalikot, opened from 10:30 AM today.
Chief District Officer Ramhari Sharma said that the road has been opened after an auxiliary road was made by the side of the road. After the road opened, vehicles headed for Kalikot, Jumla, and Mugu from Nepalgunj and Surkhet left for their destinations.
Narayangadh-Muglin road opens for traffic
Similarly, two of the 120 roads across the country are closed. The Sanfebagar-Martadi-Kolti and the Koilabas-Lamhi roads have been closed due to landslides. According to the Department of Roads, another 14 roads are currently operating as one-way, while the rest of the 104 roads are open from both directions.
