Bodies of three Nepali students killed in Hamas attack on Israel arrive home

KATHMANDU, Oct 22: The bodies of three of the 10 Nepali students killed in the attack by Hamas, the Palestinian militant group, in Israel were brought to Kathmandu today. These mortal remains are among the four bodies the Israeli government identified and handed over to the Embassy of Nepal in Tel Aviv after carrying out the legal process.

KATHMANDU, Oct 22: The bodies of three of the 10 Nepali students killed in the attack by Hamas, the Palestinian militant group, in Israel were brought to Kathmandu today. These mortal remains are among the four bodies the Israeli government identified and handed over to the Embassy of Nepal in Tel Aviv after carrying out the legal process.


Among the bodies brought this morning include those of Lokendra Singh Dhami and Dipesh Raj Bista of Darchula.  Before this, the mortal remains of Narayan Prasad Neupane of Kailali were brought last night. The body of Ashish Chaudhary of Kailali arrived at 1PM today, said Keshav Saud, the press coordinator of Foreign Affairs Minister Narayan Prakash Saud.

According to the Minister's Press Coordinator, preparations are being made to transport the three bodies brought today to Dhangadhi of Kailali by a helicopter belonging to Nepali Army. 


Ten Nepali students were killed when the Hamas militant group mounted an attack in Gaza on October 7. It is said the identification of the bodies of the remaining six Nepali students and completing the due legal process is ongoing.
