Bodybuilding champion Ram Dahal off to UAE

The national bodybuilding champion, Ram Dahal, has left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate in the World Bodybuilding Championship that is scheduled to be held in Dubai, UAE from November 7-10.

The national bodybuilding champion, Ram Dahal, has left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate in the World Bodybuilding Championship that is scheduled to be held in Dubai, UAE from November 7-10.


Birtamod Chamber of Commerce and Industry wished him success in the competition amidst a farewell program held on Saturday. Bodybuilders from 90 countries including Nepal are participating in the championship. Two of the seven members in the Nepali squad going to Dubai for the championship are bodybuilders and participate in the competition.

Speaking at the farewell program Dahal said, "I am going to Dubai with the goal of winning a gold medal for the country." Dahal is competing in the 60-Kg weight group. According to him, Marich Man Lama of Kathmandu is competing in the 70-KG weight category.


 Dahal has been running a fitness centre called Body Garage in Birtamod.
