Book Bird team visiting Beijing

KATHMANDU, June 30: A team of writers is visiting Beijing from July 1 to 9 representing Book Bird Nepal, a Nepali non-profit having sisterly relations with 'China-Nepal Cultural Exchange Center' for collaboration in various activities related to literature, arts, culture, education and tourism.

KATHMANDU, June 30: A team of writers is visiting Beijing from July 1 to 9 representing Book Bird Nepal, a Nepali non-profit having sisterly relations with 'China-Nepal Cultural Exchange Center' for collaboration in various activities related to literature, arts, culture, education and tourism.


Chairman of Book Bird Nepal, Rambabu Subedi is leading the team.

The team consists of Vice Chairman Karun Thapa, General Secretary Dr Shyam Sundar Chaudhary, Secretary Dr Sagar Neupane, members Bhaba B Thami, Kamal Nepal, Dr Suman Raj Tamrakar, Pragya Raj Sapkota, Narayan Hari Adhikari and office secretary Kishor Timalsina.


The team also plans to visit An Ren Temple located in Handan City in Hebei Province and have a special meeting with Abbot Master Shi Tong Sheng.


The team will have an educational visit of historical Xian City and a meeting with Professor Di Fang Yao fo South Asian Institute, Xizang Minzu University.
