DAMAULI, Feb 18: Senior leader of the Nepali Congress (NC) Ramchandra Poudel has said that it would not be beneficial to NC to go against the ruling alliance at the present situation. The NC, however, should develop confidence that it would go to election on its own, he stressed.

Speaking at an interaction organized by NC Tanahu constituency no 1 on Thursday, Poudel said that it is necessary for NC to help unite communist parties, reminding that NC had acted in its own direction in the past.
