Actor Swastima Khadka-starrer film ‘Bulbul’ is all set to release its first song entitled ‘Khudra Khudri’ through a flash mob.
Flash mob is a group of people who assemble and start dancing against the music in a public place.
As press statement issued by the production team on Sunday stated that the song will be released on November 1 in five different cities at the same time.
Swastima prepping up for the release of ‘Bulbul’
The venues are Kathmandu Mall of Kathmandu, Chipledhunga Chowk of Pokhara, Traffic Chowk of Butwal, Narayani River Bank of Narayani and Hanuman Complex of Birtamod.
According to the producer of the film Abeeral Thapa, the song will be launched at 3 pm when scattered dancers will start performing suddenly in different cities.
Lead characters of the film Khadka and Mukun Bhusal will be performing at the Kathmandu Mall. The production team has hired commercial dancers for other cities.
The song will be launched on YouTube and other media platforms right after the performance, as per the statement.
A total of 25 auto rickshaws were assembled at helmet hill of Bhaktapur for the shooting of the song. The cost of making the songs has been Rs 1,800,000, the production team has claimed. The song is choreographed by Kabiraj Gahatraj. He stated that the song is shot with a different concept and is one of the best songs that he has choreographed till date.
Actor Nischal Basnet and singer Rajina Rimal are the singers of the song that is written and composed by Kosish Chhetri.
Director Binod Poudel stated that Swastima Khadka's acting has mesmerized him. Meanwhile, Swastima revealed that ‘Bulbul’ was stepping stone of her career. Apart from lead characters, the film features numerous prominent faces of K-Town including Buddhi Tamang, Deepak Chhetri, Ujwal Adhikari, and Shristi Bhattarai.
