To make courageous, altogether 120 police including 90 police inspectors and 30 instructors received basic bungee jump training at The Last Resort, Bhotekhosi on Tuesday.

“Since the police officers need to go through many rescue operations, we decided to provide basic bungee jump training to them,” said SP Madhu Sudan Luitel. “I think bungee is one of the adventurous sports that help build confidence and overcome fear. So, we it was indeed an entertaining way we could consider to build the inner strength,” expressed Luitel.
“Altogether 14 police women comprising five instructors and nine trainees jumped off the 160 meters bungee cliff at Bhotekoshi. We are very delighted to have carried out this adventure from the second highest bungee spot in Asia,” he added.
Likewise, Bhola Shrestha, bungee master shared his joy over having the experience to guide the police team for the sport. “I am quite impressed by the discipline and courage exhibited by police force,” Shrestha shared.
New Zealanders David Allardice and Bishnu Neupani introduced bungee jump in 1999 for the first time in Nepal.
