Butwal launches perspective development plan

BUTWAL, Sept 19: Butwal Sub-Metropolitan city has launched its 15-year perspective development plan, preparing the base for municipal prosperity. The perspective plan also includes a five-year periodic plan.

BUTWAL, Sept 19: Butwal Sub-Metropolitan city has launched its 15-year perspective development plan, preparing the base for municipal prosperity. The perspective plan also includes a five-year periodic plan. 


At a press conference held at Butwal sub-metropolitan city on Tuesday, feedback were collected from expert group, thematic expert sub-groups, direction committee and advisory committee along with ward people on the perspective plan, shared Mayor Shivaraj Subedi.

He informed that the third municipal assembly had endorsed the integrated development master plan of the sub-metropolis after discussing it in different thematic committees. 


The plan includes development of Butwal sub-metropolis ward 1 and 2 as archaeological settlement, building Batauli museum at old building of the Butwal municipality, construction of a massive statue of Buddha at Hill Park and Buddha Circuit Park, preparation for the construction of Ramapithekas Geological Park at Shivanagar community forest, preparation of the master plan of Milan park development, settlement management schemes and celebration of Baisakh 7 (April 20) as Jitgadhi victory day.  RSS
