KATHMANDU, July 24: The captain of the Saurya Airlines plane involved in an accident has been successfully rescued.

The rescued captain has been identified as Manish Shakya, 37. Dinesh Raj Mainali, Spokesperson and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Kathmandu Valley Police Office, Ranipokhari said that Mainali was rushed to Kathmandu Medical Hospital (KMC), Sinamangal for treatment.
