Cash stolen from bank premises in broad daylight

NEPALGUNJ, Jan 23: Rs 36 5,000 in cash belonging to a customer was stolen from the premises of Siddhartha Commercial Bank in Nepalgunj on Monday afternoon.

NEPALGUNJ, Jan 23: Rs 365,000 in cash belonging to a customer was stolen from the premises of Siddhartha Commercial Bank in Nepalgunj on Monday afternoon.


According to District Police Office, Banke, the cash of Dinesh Kandel, 26, of Bageshwari-2, Banke, was stolen when he went to the bathroom of NFC Restaurant for a wash.

Kandel had left the cash on his bike on the premises shortly after he withdrew it from the bank. 


Police are carrying out investigation into the case.
