KATHMANDU, Aug 4: Nepal are set to take on Iran in the third match of the CAVA Women's Volleyball Nations League today. The match will commence at 5 PM at the covered hall of the National Sports Council in Tripureshwar.
The Nepali women's team, buoyed by their historic victory over India, remains unbeaten in the league so far. Iran, on the other hand, aims to secure a win to move into the second spot on the points table.

Currently, Nepal hold the second position with five points from two matches, level with Iran, who also have five points. India lead the standings with seven points from three matches. Sri Lanka are in fourth place with one point from two matches, while the Maldives sit at the bottom with no points from their two matches.
In their previous matches, Nepal defeated Sri Lanka in straight sets and edged out India 3-2. Iran, meanwhile, won in straight sets against the Maldives, triumphed 3-2 over Sri Lanka, but lost 3-1 to India.
Additionally, Sri Lanka and the Maldives will face off today at 3 PM.
