CBIL, Casco in remittance tie-up

KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Citizens Bank International Ltd (CBIL) and Casco Financial Services Ltd of the United Kingdom have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide remittance services.

KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Citizens Bank International Ltd (CBIL) and Casco Financial Services Ltd of the United Kingdom have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide remittance services.


Issuing a statement, the bank said that the bank’s CEO Ramdhan Shrestha and Jack Bryant from Casco Financial Services Ltd signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.

“Now people can withdraw money sent from abroad through Casco Financial Services from around 58 branches and 3,000 representatives of Citizens Bank,” a statement issued by the bank said.  


The bank also said that it organized financial literacy program on February 2 and 3 in partnership with Louis Berger -- an organization under Department for International Development (DFID). The program was organized targeting youths, students, and families dependent on remittance, according to the bank.
