CEC Thapaliya casts his vote in Bhaktapur

BHAKTAPUR, May 13: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya cast his vote at Madhyapur Thimi Municipality Ward No 1 of Bhaktapur on Friday morning.

BHAKTAPUR, May 13: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya cast his vote at Madhyapur Thimi Municipality Ward No 1 of Bhaktapur on Friday morning.

Speaking to media personnel after casting his vote, CEC Thapaliya assured that the voting would be free and fair. Voting for the local level elections started across Nepal from 7 AM on Friday and will continue until 5 PM.


Similarly, voting will be conducted at 219 polling stations across Bhaktapur district. There are four municipalities - Bhaktapur, Madhyapur Thimi, Changunarayan and Suryabinayak. The district has 57,270 voters in Bhaktapur, 41,842 in Madhyapur Thimi, 43,105 in Changunarayan and 47,367 in Suryabinayak municipalities.
