KATHMANDU, Jan 2: Chairman of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has said that the change seen in the country’s foreign policy immediately after the change in the government is unfortunate.

Addressing a program held in Kathmandu on Monday, he complained that the foreign policy of the government has not been uniform. He said that even if the government of any party is formed in other countries, there is a single foreign policy, but there is no single foreign policy in Nepal.

He said that with the change of power in Nepal, the foreign policy also changes, and emphasized that no matter which government comes in power; there should be a single foreign policy. Chairperson Timilsina said that joint secretaries and secretaries in Nepal are the supporters of one political party or another and the system is compromised when policies and rules are made for their own interests.
