Chief Secretary Bairagi appointed as National Security Advisor

KATHMANDU, June 15: The government has appointed Chief Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi as the National Security Advisor to the National Security Council. The appointment comes after Bairagi resigned from the post of chief secretary on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, June 15: The government has appointed Chief Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi as the National Security Advisor to the National Security Council. The appointment comes after Bairagi resigned from the post of chief secretary on Thursday.

Bairagi has also taken oath as an advisor  in the National Security Council today. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal administered the oath of office to him as an advisor in Singha Durbar on Thursday. After the resignation of Bairagi, the government appointed Baikuntha Aryal as Chief Secretary today.
