Rethinking education

According to a press statement released by GUTHI, more than 35 local children participated in the program. During the program, the children were taught the proper hand washing techniques. The children were shown the proper seven step techniques of hand washing through a song and dance routine that mimicked the seven steps.

The children were also shown how far germs can spread among friends through the process of ‘glitter handshake’. The glitter that spread from one hand to another demonstrated the easy spread of disease-causing bacteria and germs. After washing their hands properly, the children were shown that only washing with soap could remove bacteria that caused diseases and infections.
