KATHMANDU, July 13: Cholera has been reported in six more children in the Kathmandu Valley. With this, the number of cholera cases in the Valley has reached 28.
According to the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD), of the infected people, there are three infants under five years of age.

So far, 11 cases of cholera have been confirmed in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, eight in Kageshwori Manohara, two in Chandragiri, one in Budhanilkantha, one in Kirtipur, one in Changunarayan Municipality of Bhaktapur and one in Suryabinayak.
Lately, the cholera infection has been seen in Kathmandu. Following the increasing cases, the Ministry of Health and Population has urged people to drink only boiled water to avoid cholera.
