CIAA directs civil servants failing to submit property details to pay fine

KATHMANDU, Aug 7: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has directed officials and employees who failed to submit their property details within the deadline to pay a fine of Rs 5,000.

KATHMANDU, Aug 7: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has directed officials and employees who failed to submit their property details within the deadline to pay a fine of Rs 5,000.  


Issuing a notice through Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), CIAA has ordered a fine of Rs 5000 to the officials and employees holding public positions who failed to submit the property details within the specified time.

Those who have not submitted the asset statement form for the fiscal year  2022/2023 within the specified time have been asked to pay a fine of Rs 5,000 to the federal revenue account number 14312.


The CIAA has already requested NRB to write to the banks dealing with the government to arrange for collection of revenue from all 77 districts in office code number 206003501.
