Cinema halls urged to be stricter in regard with uploading films on social media

Nepal Motion Pictures Association has directed the cinema halls to implement strict measures to discourage  the ongoing trend of recording movies during film screening and uploading them on tiktok and other social media platforms.

Ashok Sharma, executive chairperson of Digital Cinema Nepal and General Secretary of the association has written a letter to the cinema halls concerning the issue and warned that legal action should be taken if the footage of the film is taken and posted on social media.


Directors, producers, actors along with film writers are protesting after important scenes of the film started flooding on social media.
