Circuit breaker clamped after Nepse Index falls over 3 percent

KATHMANDU, Nov 28: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Monday clamped circuit breaker after the Nepse Index witnessed a fall of more than three percent in the first 40 minutes of the trading.

KATHMANDU, Nov 28: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Monday clamped circuit breaker after the Nepse Index witnessed a fall of more than three percent in the first 40 minutes of the trading. 



The benchmark index, which opened at 1,468, plunged by 52.76 to rest at 1,415, compelled Nepse to halt the operation for today. 



The circuit breaker was clamped for twice on Sunday. As the third circuit breaker is clamped today, all the trading is halted for the day, according to Nepse. RSS
