CM disappointed by Modi’s entourage at Muktinath

KATHMANDU, May 12: Chief Minister of Province 4, Prithvi Subba Gurung has expressed dissatisfaction with visiting Indian PM Narendra Modi and his entourage at Muktinath Temple.


Gurung expressed dissatisfaction after Indian media took footage of the temple and went live on their television channels despite prohibitory orders.

Many temples in Nepal prohibit people to capture photos of prime religious sites. However, at Muktinath, the Indian media was inconsiderate as it bulldozed the restrictions at the temple. Gurung also expressed dissatisfaction against barring of Nepali journalists to cover the visit.


Modi had reached at Muktinath temple early morning today where he performed a special homage.
