Coalition is need of nation: PM Deuba

KATHMANDU, May 8: Nepali Congress (NC) President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the alliance is necessary for political stability in the country.

KATHMANDU, May 8: Nepali Congress (NC) President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the alliance is necessary for political stability in the country. 


Addressing an election assembly of the five-party coalition at Pokhara on Sunday, Deuba also warned of action against those involved in anti-coalition activities.

Stating that the coalition is necessary for NC, Deuba urged all to work together to make the coalition candidates victorious in the upcoming election. "The alliance is based on the needs of the nation and this needs to be strengthened further," said Prime Minister Deuba. We are currently in the government because of the alliance.”


Prime Minister Deuba said that the alliance was formed to stand against UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, who repeatedly dissolved parliament after he faced opposition from within his own party.
