Collaboration stressed for materialising 'Happy Nepali, Prosperous Nepal' campaign

DAMAULI, March 12: Gandaki State Government chief minister Prithvi Subba Gurung has said the campaign of 'Happy Nepali, Prosperous Nepal' would be successful with the collaboration among the governments at all the three levels. 


Speaking in the 'reception cum interaction' program organised at Aanbu Khaireni rural municipality of Tanahun today, he said the governments at all levels should walk hand in hand towards the common goal- 'Happy Nepali, Prosperous Nepal'.

He said making the Gandaki state prosperous and outstanding is the main priority of the state government and this would be possible through tourism promotion. "It is in this line that the state government has declared 2019 as the 'domestic tourist visit year'. It is the responsibility of all the local governments to support this," he stressed. 


Gandaki state government minister for industry, tourism, forest and environment, Bikas Lamsal, urged the private sector to lend a hand in the development of infrastructure for tourism development. 


Rural municipality chairperson Gir Bahadur Thapa said that the Aaanbu Khaireni is the gateway to the Gandaki state and the state government should pay attention to developing this area.
