PM Oli extends Dashain greetings (with video)

KATHMANDU, Oct 6: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed wishes that festival of Dashain might inspire one and all to contribute in the campaign of `Prosperous Nepal Happy Nepali´. 


PM Oli took to Twitter to extend his Dashain greetings on Tuesday. Extending greetings to the Nepalis home and abroad on the occasion of Dashain, PM Oli said "We are now striving for prosperity after the campaign of political rights came to an end. Therefore, I urge one and all to develop  this society a civilized, peaceful and friendlier along with prosperity."

He further urged people to observe this festival heartily with friendship and fraternity as it is the festival is all about unity and get together. 


At the same time one must not violate social harmony and peace while celebrating the festival, he added.


PM Oli, in his Dashain wishes, stressed the need for removing bad and unreasonable customs. He added "On this pious occasion, I request all the people to root out obselete evils."


"Let's celebrate this festival with fanfare. May this festival strengthen good relations among people. At the same time, we should shallow bone according to our throat," he greeted.
