KATHMANDU, March 23: The Indian government has provided financial assistance to build a public college in Ramechhap district.

KATHMANDU, March 23: The Indian government has provided financial assistance to build a public college in Ramechhap district. A new college building for Siddheshwar Education Public Campus, Bamti Bhandar in Ramechhap district was inaugurated amid a public function organized jointly by the District Coordination Committee and Campus Management Committee on Friday, according to a statement issued by Indian Embassy. The new infrastructure was constructed with an Indian grant assistance of Rs 35.50 million. Established in 1963 and presently with 1000 students, Siddheshwar Education Public Campus is affiliated to the Tribhuvan University and has been offering undergraduate programs since 2006. The three-story building has 12 classrooms.
