Tahira Banu believes, “Allah will help those who are in the way of Allah”.  Currently settled in Patan, Banu spent her childhood in Chettrapati. Of 45 years of her life, she has spent 30 years selling glass beads and hair ribbons -- prerequisite constituents of Hindu weddings. As a child, she was deprived of education but is hesitant about starting fresh at this age. However, her strong belief in Allah provides her the reasons to spread joyous colors, through the vibrant beads at her shop and her perpetual smile.
