KAMALAMAI, Aug 12: Commercial operation of an adventure sport, paragliding, has begun in Sindhuli. It is of its first kind in the district.
The paragliding was launched on August 7 while its successful test was conducted on April 25 early this year.
Commercial operation of paragliding flights begins in Kavre
The service based near the Kamalamai Municipality-6 was launched at the cost of Rs two million, according to proprietor Netra Jung Thapa. The company has been granted a license to operate up to five paragliding flights simultaneously. The fee for per person in a flight is Rs 6,500.
However, locals are entitled to a Rs 1,000 discount per month.
The sport that is a part of adventure tourism is expected to contribute to the promotion of tourism in the district.
