The committee comprised of lawmakers Anjana Bishankhe, Ekbal Miya and Sarita Neupane and has been directed to present the report in five days to the committee.

Earlier, the committee had sought clarification from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Urban Development and Tribhuvan University regarding the delay in construction of the building. As the departments and ministries were not clear about the reason, the committee decided to form the team for the detailed study.

The committee held a discussion with Tribhuvan University Registrar Dilliram Upreti, Dean Jagdish Agarwal of the Institute of Medical Sciences Studies (IOM) and officials from the Ministry of Education and Health.

During the meeting, most of the committee members demanded to blacklist the construction company and take action against it.
