KATHMANDU, Nov 15: Federation of Contractors Association of Nepal has demanded that the government immediately arrest the mastermind of the murder of then chairman of the Federation, Sharad Kumar Gauchan.
The Federation however thanked Nepal Police for arresting and making public five persons involved in the murder on Tuesday.
Construction entrepreneurs demands security from government
Issuing a press release Wednesday, Federation Chairman Bishnu Bhai Shrestha said the Nepal Police's success to investigate the case and study minutely was appreciative.
He also extended thanks to all for extending help to the police directly and indirectly in the investigation. Even the media, political parties and private sectors are expressed gratitude, Chairman added.
However, Shrestha said the construction entrepreneurs were still gripped with fear, as the eight more including the mastermind were absconding. "The government should take special initiative to arrest the absconding eight accomplices and ensure security to the construction entrepreneurs," he reiterated in the press statement. RSS
