Contractors dillydallying construction works to face music

TAPLEJUNGM June 2: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has stressed the need to lay emphasis on the development of physical infrastructure describing it as being the foundation of country's prosperity. 


He called for support from all sides to materialize the incumbent government's priority of economic development and prosperity.

Talking to journalists here on Saturday, he informed that the government was focused to take action against the contractors who dilly dally the construction works. 


The Home Minister asserted that his ministry would help take action against the contractors not complying with timeline of the construction works based on the investigation from the concerned ministry over the performance of contractors. 


Minister Thapa said this while enquiring about delay in the construction of the road leading to Pathivara Temple, a famous pilgrimage site.  

Journalists had drawn attention of the minister over dillydally in the construction of the road which was stated to be completed by mid-July as per the agreement. RSS
