Police confirmed the deaths of the two more people besides two others who died on the spot. A team from the Area Police Office (APO), Barhabise, said they found the missing bodies on Tuesday.

The pieces of their bodies were collected and brought to Barhabise Primary Health Post. Relatives of the deceased have already identified the bodies, police said.

Police are yet to determine what caused the explosion. They suspect that the explosion could have occurred while the workers were cooking dinner in the site’s kitchen.

The kitchen stores five to ten filled LPG cylinders, police said. But the exact number of filled cylinders is yet to be determined. So far, police have found five cylinders at the incident site, informed Thapa.

The deceased have been identified as Sandeep Lama of Humla and Bhaikaji Sherpa of Dolakha. The identities of the missing workers have been confirmed as Gopal Shrestha and HM Lama Magar.
