DHARAN, Jan 21: A young man infected with COVID-19 has died while undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan.

The 30-year-old man from Mahottari died at the COVID-19 ward of BPKIHS. According to Dr Chudamani Pokharel, Joint Spokesperson of BPKIHS, he died at 10:47 last night.
He tested positive for the virus on January 19 and subsequently admitted to COVID Hospital on the same day, the hospital said. Joint Spokesperson Dr Pokharel informed Republica that his body was managed as per the set protocols.
