Country going down due to wrong statistics: Bishwakarma

KATHMANDU, July 26: Nepali Congress Member of Parliament (MP) Min Bahadur Bishwakarma has expressed his suspicion that the country may have gone down due to wrong statistics. MP Bishwakarma said this while participating in the discussion on the data bill presented by the government in the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, July 26: Nepali Congress Member of Parliament (MP) Min Bahadur Bishwakarma has expressed his suspicion that the country may have gone down due to wrong statistics. MP Bishwakarma said this while participating in the discussion on the data bill presented by the government in the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday.


He said that the country will move on the right path only if the data of all sectors is kept correct. MP Biswakarma said that the caste-specific errors in the National Identity Card should be corrected as there will be data on the National Identity Card as well.

He said that some castes of the Dalit community have their disagreement over the question of presenting the social structure for identification. MP Bishwakarma expressed his belief that the current data bill will solve the country's data problems.
