SURUNGA, Nov 17: A couple has died in a road mishap along the east- west highway at Juke road-section of Kankai Municipality. The deceased are identified as 53-year-old Ranga Lal Dhakal and his 52-year-old wife Man Maya Dhakal, residents of Damak-3 as informed by District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa.

The microbus 'Ba 3 Kha 5887' collided with motorcycle Me 1 Pa 9899 from opposite directions. Husband and wife riding the motorcycle were seriously injured by the collision and were rushed to the hospital. They died during the treatment at B&B Hospital, Birtamod as confirmed by the police personnel.
